“Grievances of the Bereaved” is a visual, auditory and interactive experience as Tuggers engages multiple senses; creating different avenues for connection to your own emotions. She navigates through her journey by bringing her readers/listeners along to each spiritual and physical compartment she took advantage of during her season of loss.
The compartments you will witness were the accidental steps taken to handle her grief. These acts started as random self-soothing acts but transitioned into strategies to protect her sanity. The combination of written and spoken word, poetry and art were all derived from the spaces she held for her thoughts, fears, and grievances.
Tuggers opens up about how these individual spaces serve as connection points to God, self, and others, as we all have faced or will face grief at some point. How we handle said grief is the variable. She emphasizes that while time cannot be controlled, what we do with our time can be. How we show up for ourselves at our worst is a key identifier to how we will show up for others at our best. Aerielle is showing up for you through presence and relatability while also providing tactical mechanisms to help guide you through some of your hardest seasons. Welcome to her navigation.
